LAGOLE

If you want to feel the magic of an uncontaminated place, Lagole is the place that is for you. This natural reserve is situated in the outskirts of  Calalzo to the north of the  Centro Cadore lake. For centuries it has been known that its water has thermal characteristics.

Lagole delle Tose or rather the "the girls' lake" in Ladin dialect , is the greatest of the three  lakes present in the area. Its history is tied to a tragic legend that says that monstrous creatures with goat feet resided here. It is a real archaeological site and a place of historical and folk  cult.
