PONT DE LA MORTIS

Gola del Pònt de la Mortìs is a spectacular form of river erosion, with a scene from Dante’s infernal circle.     

The little bridge is above a narrow ravine that links the Serva and Terne Mountains.

The ravine is impressive as there is a contrast between the red rocks and the crystalline waters and it represents a door that the Ardo river had to open after a great landslide.
